Tommy's Thursday Thoughts: Vol. 48 - A Lesson On Locking Doors
-I enjoy the taste of oranges but rarely eat them, because I find the skin to be a real annoyance. Like the white stringy stuff that lines the orange. It can be difficult to chew and swallow, making the whole orange eating process a real chore.
-Free joke for your work Christmas parties. Assuming there’s an open bar, go up to a group and say “What are we all drinking? This round’s on me!” Slap your knee and prepare for raucous laughter.
-People often think it’s more important to lock their doors when they’re leaving their place as opposed to when they’re inside. But I think locking doors when you’re home is equally, if not more, important. If someone breaks in when you’re out, they’ll steal stuff, sure. But I’d rather that than have someone break in while I’m there and shoot me in the forehead. Material items can be replaced. Life cannot.
-It’s not easy enough to order a nice, peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I have no idea where to get one. I’ve been searching all the food apps. I suppose I could go buy bread, peanut butter, and jelly. But that’s a whole big thing and then I’d have to make it myself. Plus, I don’t know how many PBJs I’ll be eating. I really just want one. It’s been a huge dilemma of my life lately.
-Saying “Have a merry, merry!” is my preferred way to wish someone a Merry Christmas.
-In case you were wondering, I’ve still been going to the gym a lot. (Obviously). On a recent trip, the lady at the counter told the guy who buzzed in ahead of me “Have a good workout.” I then buzzed in and she said “Have a great workout.” It made me feel real good.
-I think it’s unlikely that I’ll ever end up in prison, but if I do, I really think that I’d thrive. I’d become a likable, glue guy in the big, dominant prison crew. They’d keep me around for jokes and lightening the mood. I’d also be “the plug” to stuff from the outside world. In due time, I would rise up and be their leader before they even realized it.
-This will be my last Thursday Thoughts video posted in 2019. And you may notice I’m wearing the shirt I once wore in three straight Instagram videos. So I figured it was fitting to close out the year with it. Pretty thoughtful. I guess I can officially declare this my shirt of 2019.
-Going off of that last thought, I guess it’s not really acceptable for a guy to refer to a shirt as a “top.” I thought about calling this a top since it’s a shirt but also has a hood, but it didn’t sound right. I will make it a 2020 resolution to de-genderize the word “top.”

-Why doesn’t any candle company sell a “blown out candle” scented candle? That’s such a good smell
